Seven Oaks Equestrian Center, LLC is located outside Montgomery, Alabama in the community of Pike Road. Situated in prime horse country, Seven Oaks can boast the convenience of a 15 minute drive from central Montgomery but still be surrounded by quiet country elegance. Only three and a half miles off I-85, the road to Seven Oaks is a short country drive through rolling pastureland with mature oaks lining the road.
Seven Oaks Equestrian Center offers riding lessons for any level rider and has safe and appropriate lesson horses for those who do not own a horse. In addition, training for your horse is also available. See Aul Eventing for more information on our Head Trainer, Annie Aul.
Seven Oaks Equestrian Center is in a terrific location for the competitive rider. Poplar Place, Chatt Hills and other venues are within a few hours drive for Eventers, Hunter/Jumpers, and Dressage riders. Local shows are often held on a monthly basis, offering everything from Combined Test, Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and “fun” shows. Auburn University, with its outstanding Equestrian Team and Veterinary School, is only 35 minutes away.
For the rider who does not wish to show but to still enjoy their horse, Seven Oaks is also located in an area with terrific trails. Around the barn is a trail loop of about an hour with ponds, hills and woods. Across the street is an old railroad bed that stretches for miles, and it often interrupted by encroaching forests. Tuskegee National Forest is a short drive down the interstate and has 14 miles of trails. Rockford, only an hour away, holds an organized trail ride every few months for the advanced trail rider, with steep hills, creeks and more. The Coldwater Recreational area in Florida’s Blackwater National Forest, which allows overnight camping and horse stabling and has miles and miles of trails, is only three hours away.
